SHAH ALAM, 8 October 2026 – Kawasaki Malaysia successfully concluded the Kawasaki KLE500 Media Ride, a three-day, two-night journey supported by LEXIN Malaysia and RAINMAN Malaysia, giving selected media the opportunity to experience the motorcycle across a wide range of real-world riding conditions.
MODENAS Chief Executive Officer Roslan Roskan personally engages with media participants ahead of their three-day KLE500 adventure.
Beginning at the Kawasaki Technical Centre in Glenmarie, the journey took participants through highways, winding B-roads, rural stretches and selected light off-road sections, travelling through Merapoh, Gua Musang and Kuala Kangsar before returning to the Klang Valley.
The programme allowed participants to evaluate the KLE500 beyond a conventional test ride, covering long-distance comfort, everyday handling, touring practicality and its ability to manage changing road and surface conditions.
Three Days of Real-World Riding
Taman Negara Pahang Sungai Relau was among the scenic destinations explored during the three-day journey.
On the first day, the group travelled towards Gua Musang via Bukit Tagar, Rasa, Kuala Kubu Bharu, Fraser’s Hill, Raub and Sungai Koyan. The route combined sweeping roads, tighter corners and selected unpaved sections before the group arrived at INAP MUSE for the night.
The second day continued through Kuala Krai, Tanah Merah, Jeli and Gerik towards Kuala Kangsar. Participants experienced another mix of open roads, kampung routes and selected light off-road sections before spending the night at D’Rumah Bonda River View.
Each participant was provided with an individual tent, adding a genuine outdoor element to the KLE500 adventure experience.
The final day brought the group back towards the Klang Valley through Perak, completing a demanding yet balanced journey that demonstrated the KLE500’s versatility across touring, commuting and recreational adventure-riding environments.
Designed for Accessible Adventure
Throughout the programme, the KLE500 demonstrated manageable handling, comfortable ergonomics and predictable performance across different riding surfaces.
Participants unwind at the campsite in Kuala Kangsar after completing the second day’s ride.
Rather than focusing on extreme enduro conditions, the ride highlighted the KLE500’s purpose as an accessible adventure motorcycle for riders who want to explore beyond normal urban and highway routes.

The convoy was supported by an experienced ride marshal, sweeper and support vehicle, with regular regrouping points and safety briefings conducted throughout the journey.
Supported by LEXIN Malaysia and RAINMAN Malaysia
LEXIN Malaysia, the programme’s official intercom partner, provided communication systems that kept participating media connected throughout the three-day convoy.
Media participants install LEXIN intercom systems on their helmets before setting off on the KLE500 Media Ride.
RAINMAN Malaysia, the programme’s official motorcycle phone-holder partner, provided secure mounting solutions that gave participants convenient access to navigation during the journey.
The support of both partners contributed to a safer, better-connected and more convenient riding experience for all participants.
The Kawasaki KLE500 Media Ride forms part of Kawasaki Malaysia’s ongoing commitment to creating meaningful, experience-led opportunities for media and riders to understand its motorcycles in the environments for which they were designed.
