Riders share a moment for the camera before setting off to experience their chosen Kawasaki motorcycles.
SETAPAK, 11 October 2026 — For two days, Kawasaki Setapak became a starting point for discovery as riders arrived with questions, selected a motorcycle and returned with something more valuable than specifications which is the firsthand experience.
Held from 10 to 11 October 2026, the Kawasaki Good Times Test Ride Tour Setapak recorded 486 test ride experiences, making the seventh stop of the year another strong chapter in Kawasaki Malaysia’s nationwide rider-engagement journey.
Anticipation builds beneath the hospitality tent as visitors wait for their turn to take a Kawasaki onto the road.
The weekend began with 226 test rides on Saturday before gathering greater momentum on Sunday, when 260 test rides were completed. The second-day result represented an increase of approximately 15 per cent, reflecting sustained interest throughout the two-day programme.
With 16 Kawasaki models available, visitors were not limited to a single type of riding experience. They could move between adventure and touring motorcycles, naked street machines, supersport models, modern classics, cruisers and accessible everyday motorcycles, comparing not only specifications, but how each machine felt from the rider’s seat.
The Versys 1100 recorded the highest overall participation with 72 test rides, closely followed by the Z900 with 67 and the Ninja ZX-6R/636 with 60. Interest in Kawasaki’s high-performance lightweight range was also evident, with the Ninja ZX-25R recording 41 rides and the Ninja ZX-4R recording 32.

Saturday belonged to the Versys 1100, which led the day with 35 test rides. On Sunday, the Z900 moved to the front with 44 rides, while the Ninja ZX-6R/636 attracted 35. The results reflected the different reasons riders came to Setapak, from exploring long-distance comfort and everyday versatility to experiencing Kawasaki’s performance-focused character.
The newly introduced KLE500 also maintained consistent interest throughout the weekend, recording 14 test rides on each day for a total of 28. Its equal performance across both days reflected steady curiosity towards Kawasaki’s latest middleweight adventure offering.
Yet the story of the Setapak tour was not told by numbers alone. Every test ride began with anticipation: a helmet secured, controls checked and an engine brought to life. It continued on the road, where riders could feel the motorcycle’s balance, response and character for themselves. Upon returning, those impressions became conversations about comfort, confidence, performance and which Kawasaki might become part of their next journey.
Focused on the machine ahead, riders familiarise themselves with the controls and riding position before beginning their test ride.
As the seventh Kawasaki Good Times Test Ride Tour of 2026, Setapak continued the programme’s purpose of bringing Kawasaki motorcycles closer to riders through direct and meaningful experiences.
With 486 test rides completed over one weekend, the Setapak stop demonstrated that choosing a motorcycle is about more than what riders see in a showroom. Sometimes, one ride is all it takes to turn curiosity into connection, and begin imagining the road ahead.
